Pastor Darrell D. Kelly

       Darrell D. Kelly started in music as a pianist at the age of 8. He began to write lyrics at the age of 12, and began his singing ministry at the age of 14 when he sang publicly for the first time in a youth conference. Darrell currently serves as Music Minister & Youth Pastor at Free Spirit Community Church, where his parents: Bishop James and Pastor Margie Kelly are the pastors. Darrell is the loving husband of Angela and proud father of Zuri his daughter. 

     Pastor Darrell holds a B.A. in Theology from Beacon University Institute of Ministry. Pastor Darrell is actively involved in Outreach Missions in the island nation of Haiti. As a Recording artist, Darrell continues to produce, publish, and manufacture his own albums independently as the founder of Supernatural Sounds, Inc. and DAUDI Publishing.

 

     Pastor Darrell has taken this ministry and music to Churches, Conferences, Public Schools, Prisons & Juvenile Detention Centers,  Youth Rallies, the "March for Jesus ", Relay of Life charity event, Make a Wish Foundation, the Panama City Rescue Mission, and much more. The Ministry of Darrell Kelly is continuing to spread across the United States as well as into other nations of the world.

 

     Pastor Darrell has had the privilege to share the stage with some of Gospel Music's most renowned artists, such as: John P. Kee, Daryl Coley, Keith "WonderBoy" Johnson, Micah Stampley, Kirk Franklin, The Williams Brothers, Debra Snipes, Helen Baylor, Vernessa Mitchell, Angelo & Veronica, Phil Driscol, Henry Louw, Urban Hope, Bill & Renee' Morris, The Ambassador, The Cross Movement, Minister John Grey, D.C.P. and L. G. Wise.

 

 * In 1996, Pastor Darrell was a background singer on the Live Recording of John P. Kee and V.I.P Mass Choir album "Stand".

 

 * In March of 2006, Pastor Darrell was the "First” Gospel/Christian Artist ever booked to conduct a Sunday morning service/concert for the Spring Break Nationals (Major Car Show & Audio Competition) in Daytona Beach, Florida.

 

* In February of 2007 Pastor Darrell was a featured artist for TBN's “Church Praise” Broadcast taped in Panama City, Florida.

 

* In April of 2008, Pastor Darrell made his acting debut with a starring role in Barry Hand’s Gospel Play: “The Denied Mother.”

 

 * In June of 2009, Pastor Darrell was nominated for Rhythm of Gospel's "Holy hip hop Artist of the Year" for the song: "I Pledge Allegiance.”

 

* In June 2010, Pastor Darrell was interviewed on TBN by host Clifton Davis at the Dallas TX. Studios.

 

Pastor Darrell is committed to “Upholding the Integrity of the Gospel” while faithfully fulfilling his call to the Ministry, Music and the Arts.
